Yoroi-no Watashi, the Yoroi ferry at Koami district, shows a crossing on the Edo waterfront, where small boats carried travelers and goods between the city's banks. The sheet belongs to *Meisho Edo hyakkei* (One Hundred Famous Views of Edo), a series by Utagawa Hiroshige that was issued in the last years before his death in 1858. The color woodblock was engraved by Matsushima Seikichi. Look at how the water, boats, and shoreline are arranged, since those details capture the steady rhythm of river traffic that shaped daily life in the city at the time.
