Unlike most prints on this board, this is a drawing, and its subject headings name a drawbridge in Tokyo with foreign visitors. The catalog date of 1750 does not match the artist's listed working years of 1764 to 1788, and the subject headings place the scene between 1850 and 1900, so the exact moment is uncertain. Isoda Koryūsai was a ukiyo-e painter and printmaker active in Edo, the city renamed Tokyo in 1868, which makes the record's later dating and its attribution hard to reconcile.
