Catalogued as a single drawing, this sheet is attributed to Isoda Koryūsai, an Edo-period artist whose working years the record gives as roughly 1764 to 1788. The record is internally inconsistent: it lists a date of 1750, which predates that span, and subject headings place the scene in Tokyo between 1850 and 1900, after the city was renamed from Edo in 1868. The subjects name drawbridges and foreign visitors, which points to a view of the city's bridges seen by outsiders in the late Edo or early Meiji years, but the attribution and date should be verified before relying on them.
