A drawbridge and foreign visitors set this drawing apart, and the record places its subject in Tokyo between 1850 and 1900. That was the period when Japan reopened its ports to Western trade and foreign residents and tourists began appearing in the capital, so the scene likely captures an unfamiliar meeting between visitors and local life. The attributed artist, Isoda Koryūsai, worked in Edo in the late eighteenth century, with recorded activity from 1764 to 1788, which predates the subject. The 1750 date in the record therefore doesn't fit well and is probably an error.
