This text-only poster skips the illustrations that made many wartime recruiting bills famous and speaks to the reader directly: "Your country wants you and 300,000 more men like you. Don't wait but join now." The Parliamentary Recruiting Committee issued it in London in 1915, when Britain still relied on volunteers and had not yet adopted conscription, which came in 1916. The bold, plain wording reflects the urgency of that period, when the army needed large numbers of new men. The printer, C.W. Faulkner & Co., was a London firm, and the poster's number, 102, places it in a larger series.
