Standing in full uniform, Tom Seaton faces right at Washington Park in Brooklyn, the ballpark used by the Federal League's Brooklyn club in 1915. Seaton, born in 1889, was a player during the Federal League's short challenge to the established National and American Leagues, a rival major league that folded after the 1915 season. This George Grantham Bain news photograph shows the flannel uniform and the plain, direct pose typical of the period's sports portraits.
