Titled simply "Clear," this color poster depicts football players, a subject that in 1910 was still changing as the sport adjusted to the rule reforms of 1906 and moved toward more open play. The record credits the copyright to Close Graham Scully Inc. of New York and names Hibberd V. B. Kline as the artist, but offers little else about its origin. The catalog also lists the United States Food Administration as sponsor, yet that wartime agency was not founded until 1917, so the 1910 date and the sponsor credit don't line up and are worth checking against other sources.
