Playing cards are the subject of this 1935 print, which comes from an album titled as Göring's photo archive for Białowieża that year. The album, part of the Hermann Göring Collection, documents his visit to the forest in eastern Poland, a hunting ground he used for bison hunts in the mid-1930s. The record notes that its caption data was later revised and is unverified, so the exact setting and the people present should be read with some caution. Even so, the picture offers a glimpse of the leisure side of the Nazi leadership's hunting trips.
