The long front porch of Old Faithful Inn runs along a building that opened in 1904 in the Upper Geyser Basin, within sight of the geyser it is named for. Architect Robert Reamer designed the inn from logs and rough lodgepole pine to suit its wilderness setting. This stereograph, published by the Ingersoll View Company of St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1905, was one of many cards sold to travelers who viewed them through a stereoscope at home.
