Printed as a two-sheet diptych, this color woodcut carries one scene across both halves, a format that let Japanese printmakers spread a composition wider than a single sheet allowed. The catalog credits the engraver Matsushima Seikichi and files the subject under ethnic groups in the 1800 to 1850 range, but its date of 1750 does not match that span, so the exact moment of production is uncertain. Ukiyo-e woodblock prints of the Edo period were made in editions and often recorded people, dress, and daily life, which makes them useful visual sources. The two sheets are catalogued separately, so the pairing is worth noting when you study the image.
