Georges Schreiber's 1941 lithograph takes its title from the state, *From Arkansas*, and the catalog lists women and farm life there as its subjects. Schreiber, a Belgian-born American artist, produced many lithographs of ordinary American people and places in the late 1930s and 1940s, and this print is typical of that work. It was distributed by Associated American Artists, a New York firm that sold affordable prints by American artists to a broad public during the Depression and war years. The print is signed in pencil and is part of the Ben and Beatrice Goldstein Foundation Collection at the Library of Congress.
