The poster's caption, "Meeting of America's greatest financiers," jokes that the gathered figures have "all handled" the money in question, a play on the title *Other People's Money*. The 1900 black-and-white lithograph advertises Leroyle Hennessy's appearance at Hoyt's Theater in New York and was drawn by E. O. Towne, a Cincinnati-linked illustrator. It was printed by the Russell-Morgan Print company, which produced many theatrical posters in that period. Its satirical tone reflects the public suspicion of Wall Street bankers and speculators at the turn of the century.
