Liza Minnelli is caught mid-performance in this 1999 lithograph, titled for her Broadway show *Minnelli on Minnelli*, a tribute to her parents, Judy Garland and director Vincente Minnelli. Al Hirschfeld, who drew theater celebrities for decades for *The New York Times*, built his caricatures from sinuous, economical lines that exaggerate a performer's gestures and expressions. This copy is an artist's proof, marked 9 of 30, and it was shown in the Library of Congress exhibition *Al Hirschfeld: Beyond Broadway* in 2000 and 2001.
