Terry Turner was a utility infielder who played for the Cleveland Naps, the American League club, and this glass negative catches him in uniform during the team's years in the league's early decade. Turner had a long career as a second baseman and later managed in the majors, and the Bain News Service, a Manhattan wire photo outfit, sent pictures like this one to newspapers across the country.
