Among the Yosemite views on this board, this stereograph stands out because its title names a building, the Opticians Bldg. of Thomas Houseworth & Co., placed near Yosemite Valley. Houseworth was a San Francisco photographer and publisher of stereoscopic views, and his Gems of California Scenery series appeared during the 1860s, when Yosemite was gaining fame after Congress set the valley aside in 1864. The library's record is uneven, however: one subject heading names a San Francisco store instead, so the building's exact location is worth confirming before relying on it.
