The National Women's Trade Union League emblem is a rare piece of visual identity from an organization that shaped how American women worked and organized. Founded in 1903, the league brought together working women and middle-class allies to push for unionization, shorter hours, safer conditions, and laws protecting women and children in factories and shops. A badge or emblem like this one helped members recognize one another at rallies, meetings, and strikes, and it reflected the group's effort to present women's labor as serious and organized. The c1908 date places it during the league's early years of campaigning.
