This color poster, about 232 by 88 centimeters, is tall and narrow, built to be seen from across a street. Its title pairs "Kermesse," a festival or open-air fair, with the Brussels International Exhibition of 1897. The record credits the design to Ed. Duyck and Adolphe Crespin, a Belgian artist and poster designer, and gives the printer as Gouweloos in Brussels in 1896, a year before the fair opened. The record's details come from an older caption card and are not fully verified, so the attributions are worth checking against other sources.
