A glass negative titled *Sheba Eating Out of Children's Hand* shows a named animal taking food from young visitors, which suggests a zoo setting in Detroit, Michigan, though the record only says "possibly." The Detroit Publishing Company, which operated in the late 1800s and early 1900s, produced many views of American cities, parks, and attractions like this one. Its large-format glass plates recorded everyday public life and leisure in the years before the 1920s, and this one came to the Library of Congress as a 1949 gift from the State Historical Society of Colorado.
