Bob Fisher and George Cutshaw of the Brooklyn National League club, photographed at the Polo Grounds in New York, make this picture distinct from other Brooklyn views in the set. Brooklyn played some of its home games in Manhattan that season because Ebbets Field did not open until 1913. The Bain News Service, a commercial photo agency, made and captioned the glass negative, and its work now forms part of the Library of Congress collection.
