Liggett & Myers printed these cards to pass out with its Fatima cigarettes, and the company tucked them into packs to encourage repeat purchases. Their small size and team-and-player design made them popular with children and collectors, and many survived in albums and shoeboxes long after the tobacco was smoked. The title "Fatima Team Cards (T200)" was assigned by Library staff, and the T200 designation is the later catalog number that collectors use for this 1913 tobacco set.
