Savannah's Union Station, photographed around 1904, is preserved here as an 8 by 10 inch glass plate negative. Union stations of this period pooled several railroad lines into one depot, so a single building could serve passengers heading in many directions. The Detroit Publishing Company, which issued travel views of American cities and landscapes in the early 1900s, made the negative, and the record notes that it was given to the State Historical Society of Colorado in 1949.
