Titled *Minnetonka* and dated August 4, 1894, this 8 by 10 inch glass negative shows a sailing scene that the record links, with some uncertainty, to a regatta of the Indian Harbor Yacht Club. The numbers 94 and 119 appear on the negative, probably marking competing boats, and the catalogers describe the class as 21 feet. The Detroit Publishing Company, which made views of American scenery and recreation from the 1890s into the early 1900s, is credited on the basis of style rather than a catalog number, so the attribution is best read as likely rather than certain. The negative was given to the State Historical Society of Colorado in 1949.
