Numbered 87 in its series, this color lithograph asks the viewer directly, "Isn't this worth fighting for?" before urging him to "Enlist now." The Parliamentary Recruiting Committee in London issued it, and Jowett & Sowry of Leeds printed it. The date is uncertain, but the record places it around 1915, when Britain still relied on volunteers. Conscription did not arrive until early 1916, so posters like this one carried much of the weight of persuading men to join up.
