Napa's county courthouse appears here as the subject of a stereographic view from the Gems of California Scenery series, numbered 757 in its caption. The Library holds only one half of the original pair, which was meant to be viewed through a stereoscope to create an illusion of depth, a format that was widely popular in the 1860s.
