Printed in Cleveland by W.J. Morgan & Co., this 1900 lithograph puts William McKinley's name at the center of a campaign built on the word prosperity. McKinley was seeking a second term that year, and his Republican campaign pointed to economic recovery after the depression of the 1890s as proof that his policies had worked. Posters like this carried that message into homes, shops and public spaces before the November vote. The date and printer come from an old caption card and have not been independently verified.
