Charles Hoyt's comedy *A Parlor Match* is the play this 1898 color lithograph advertises, and the sheet calls it "Hoyt's best play." Charles E. Evans and William Hoey, a popular comedy team, headline the bill. Hoey had died in 1897, so the poster looks back on a partnership that had already ended. The lower left corner and other sections are missing, so some of the text is lost. The sheet was printed in New York by The A.S. Seer Print.
