The title is the most distinctive thing about this picture. "Call me MS." puns on the honorific that spread widely in the early 1970s, after *Ms.* magazine launched in 1972 as an alternative to "Miss" and "Mrs." The record doesn't explain how the title relates to the horse, so the joke may be the photographer's own.
