Its title names Berlin as the target, which points to the aircraft's purpose. The Handley Page V/1500 was a British four-engined heavy bomber built near the end of the First World War, designed to carry bombs far enough to strike German cities, including the capital. The four Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engines gave it the power for that range and load. The war ended before the V/1500 saw combat, so it became better known as an experimental long-range type than as a bomber that flew over Berlin. The print likely dates from the years just after the armistice, when such aircraft were still widely photographed.
