Few portraits on this board show a president rather than a city, and this one is labeled simply "Pres. U.S." for Grover Cleveland, who served two separate terms, from 1885 to 1889 and from 1893 to 1897. The card dates the print to about 1900, when he was a former president out of office, and a copyright registration note suggests it was entered for copyright. The record is old and not fully verified, so treat the date as approximate. The city of Cleveland, Ohio, which the board is named for, took its name from Moses Cleveland, not from the president, so the link here is by name alone.
