The only place detail attached to this negative is its title, "In Holland," which the Bain News Service took from caption cards that were never fully verified, so the exact location and date remain uncertain. The George Grantham Bain Collection at the Library of Congress holds images from a New York agency that supplied news and feature pictures to newspapers in the early twentieth century.
