Unlike most railroad posters, which sell passenger travel, this one promotes freight. It shows workers lifting and carrying packages beside trucks, under the slogan "For good order delivery use Railway Express Agency." The Railway Express Agency was the railroads' shared package and freight service, and it was newly consolidated in 1929, the year this print was made. The chromolithograph was printed by Carey & Sons in New York, and the record credits Robert E. Lee with the design, a reminder that 1920s posters often advertised shipping reliability as much as train rides.
