This poster, printed in silkscreen in 1936, announces an exhibition of paintings executed by pupils of the École Internationale de Genève, a school in Geneva, Switzerland. Its catalog record also files it under New York State exhibitions and children's art, which suggests the show was presented to American audiences through the Federal Art Project. The subject headings also list horses, a common subject in children's art of the period. Silkscreen was a fairly new method for the WPA's poster workshops, which used its flat, bold color to produce inexpensive, eye-catching notices.
