Elizabeth Olds's lithograph *White Collar Boys*, dated 1936, takes its title from a common term for office workers and executives and applies it to the businessmen of the Depression decade. Olds worked in the social realist vein of the 1930s, when many American artists turned from landscapes and society portraits to economic hardship and class division. This impression is signed, titled, and dated in pencil and marked as edition 2 of 15, which reflects the small, carefully controlled printings that were common among printmakers of the period.
