This print, titled *Christmas Morning After Daylight*, was registered for copyright in September 1871, and its shelflist card credits the Hartford firm Kellogg & Bulkeley Co. The title points to a familiar holiday moment, the early hour when children are allowed to see what Santa has left. Lithographs like this were popular in the 1870s, when mass-produced color prints brought sentimental domestic scenes into ordinary parlors. The record notes two copies in one color, so this is a single-color version of the design. The catalog data is unverified, so the firm attribution and date should be checked against other sources.
