What sets this card apart is its white border, the most common of the frames in the American Tobacco Company's T206 series, issued from 1909 through 1911. The cards were packed inside cigarettes, so each one came as a small bonus, and many were saved and traded by collectors. Printed in relief with halftone and color, the small portraits document the players and uniforms of the era's major league teams. The set includes hundreds of cards, among them the Honus Wagner card, now one of the most valuable cards ever printed.
