This long horizontal poster, about 71 by 206 centimeters, was designed to be read from across a street. It advertises the Congress of Rough Riders of the World, the part of Buffalo Bill's Wild West that brought together horsemen from many countries, including Cossacks and gauchos alongside American cowboys and Native performers. Springer Litho. Co. of New York printed it in color, but the caption card gives no date, so its year has to be estimated from the show's touring history. The Buffalo board reflects the many cities the show visited across the country.
