The slogan reads like a soda-fountain pitch, and that playful copy sets this poster apart: it promotes a stage production called *Follow the Parade*, with the record's title cut off at "Holly," likely Hollywood. The Federal theater Project, a Works Progress Administration program that put unemployed theater workers back on stage, sponsored posters like this in 1936 to fill seats during the Depression, and its California units were active in Los Angeles. The silkscreen method used here produced bold, flat areas of color economically in large runs, which is why these posters still stand out today.
