Three aircraft hang in the sky over a crowd in this view: a dirigible airship and two balloons, all drifting above people gathered below. The slide is catalogued as part of the Hoernes Collection and dated to about 1906, a period when lighter-than-air craft drew large public crowds to fairs, exhibitions and open fields.
