Its title promises a "fantastic spectacle" with the "evil eye" and the "merry mishaps" of Nid and the "wanderings" of Nod, and the poster's own caption, "Do you see anything?", hints at the illusion-driven entertainment the show offered. Charles H. Yale, the performer named on the bill, is credited as the show's creator, and Sidney R. Ellis is listed as manager. The black-and-white lithograph was printed in 1900 by the Russell-Morgan Print Company of Cincinnati and New York, which produced many touring theater posters of that era. Its dense lettering and bold layout reflect how such posters competed for attention on city streets and in theater lobbies.
