Billed as the "20th edition and best ever," Charles H. Yale's "Everlasting Devils" promotes its show with the superlative copy typical of American touring entertainments around 1901. The color lithograph was produced by the U.S. Lithograph Co. and its Russell-Morgan Print works in Cincinnati and New York, firms that supplied bold, eye-catching sheets to traveling companies. Yale died in 1920, and his poster shows how producers of the period relied on vivid color and large lettering to draw audiences into the theater.
