Advertising a stage production rather than a film, this 1910 color lithograph promotes *The Intruder*, billed as a comedy drama of East and West built around an outlaw's romance. The sheet names Robert J. Sherman as its author, and it was printed by Quigley Litho. Co. of Kansas City, a firm that produced many colorful posters for traveling theatrical companies in the early twentieth century. The record's note "Not a moving picture" is a reminder that in 1910 live touring drama and the newer motion pictures competed for the same audiences.
