A color lithograph poster from 1906 advertises *The Little Duchess*, a musical comedy with a book by Harry B. Smith and music by Reginald De Koven, presented under the direction of Milton and Sargent Aborn. The production was built around Anna Held, the Polish-born star whose vivacious stage persona made her one of the best-known performers of the era. The printed caption, "I have a feeling you are about to be kissed," reflects the flirtatious, playful tone of the show's publicity. The poster was produced by the Russell-Morgan Print firm of Cincinnati and New York, a major maker of theatrical lithographs in the early 1900s.
