Sam Morris's name leads this 1897 color lithograph for *Old Money Bags*, a comedy drama, printed by the H.C. Miner Litho. Co. of New York. Miner's firm was one of several that produced bold, eye-catching posters for touring theater companies in that period. The record credits Robert Fulgora with the direction and includes the caption "Death of Duranti," which points to a dramatic moment in the play. Morris lived until 1910 and Fulgora until 1947.
