Here a servant is shown placing a bridal veil, a domestic moment that sets this card apart from the other wedding views on the board. It was issued around 1907 by the Sterro-Photo Co. of Dolgeville, a small village in upstate New York, and bears a notice of copyright by C.A. Richmond. Stereographs like this were viewed in pairs through a hand stereoscope, and staged scenes of this kind gave parlor audiences a look at fashionable wedding dress and the household help that often supported such occasions.
