Two men, Jerry Managan and W.G. Farrell, are named in this view taken at the Wardman Park pool in Washington, D.C., part of the grounds around the Wardman Park hotel on the city's northwest side. The National Photo Company, which worked in Washington from about 1907 to 1932, documented local people and places in large numbers and sold its views as prints and postcards. The date of about 1925 is inferred from neighboring negatives, and the names come from notes on the negative sleeve that have not been verified. Note the streaks and blemishes on the glass, which result from natural deterioration of the original coating.
