This 1900 lithograph advertises *The Man's Enemy, or The Downward Path* as a big scenic production in its fourth year in England. Printed by the Russell-Morgan house of the U.S. Printing Company in Cincinnati and New York, the black-and-white sheet credits Charles A. Longdon and Eric Hudson and includes a caption exchange between Sarah and Grace about a husband's doubts over his wife's fidelity. The wording reflects the melodrama style of the era, when sensational domestic plots and elaborate stage scenery drew audiences to touring productions.
