Jinsen, the Japanese-era name for the port now called Incheon, is the subject of this aerial view, dated September 9, 1945. That was about three weeks after Japan's surrender ended the Pacific War and just a day after U.S. Army troops came ashore at the port. The caption card is noted as unverified, so the exact vantage point and aircraft are not documented here. Still, the image gives a useful overhead look at a harbor that became a key entry point for Allied forces in Korea at the close of the war.
