Canada's pork opportunity is a color lithograph by E. Henderson that presents hog raising as a patriotic duty for Canadian farmers. It was sponsored by the Canada Food Board, the wartime agency that urged producers to grow and ship more food to Britain and the Allied armies. Pork and bacon were valuable exports across the Atlantic, so the poster linked ordinary farm work to the war effort. Appeals like this one were a common part of Canadian home-front propaganda, which relied on posters and rural outreach to reach producers.
