A German appeal to the people of Upper Silesia, this 1919 color lithograph sets images of Polish emigrants beside a warning that the region's residents would look the same under Polish rule. Its title addresses Upper Silesians directly and urges them to stay with the new Germany. The Treaty of Versailles left the province's future to a plebiscite, and posters like this one were part of the propaganda campaign that tried to shape how voters saw that choice. The artist signed only with a monogram, and the sheet comes from the Rehse collection of printed material on the period.
