Winans is the only record here, and the title comes from caption cards and notes that the Bain News Service wrote on the plates, so the identification has not been independently verified. Bain News Service was a New York press photography agency that supplied newspapers with pictures of public figures, events and places in the early twentieth century, and George Grantham Bain's collection preserves many of its negatives.
